Backstory:
The formation of Lopsided Engine is as unique as the band name itself. It all started in an old garage in the industrial heart of Brooklyn, where a group of car mechanics discovered their shared passion for music while working on an old, lopsided engine. The band comprises of lead singer and guitarist – Joey ‘Sparkplug’ Daniels, bassist – Mike ‘Axel’ Rodriguez, drummer – Ed ‘Clutch’ Murphy, and keyboardist – Sam ‘Hood’ Thompson. It was during these long, noisy hours of car repairs and oil changes, they realized they could create a different type of noise, a more harmonious and rhythmic noise, which gradually led to the formation of “Lopsided Engine”. Their raw, gritty sound is inspired by their blue-collar roots and the daily grind of their day jobs.

Genre:
Lopsided Engine falls into the genre of Industrial Rock with a touch of Grunge. Their music includes a measured blend of heavy metallic rhythms, high-powered guitar riffs, and a grunge-induced vocal delivery that echoes the raw, hardworking ethos of their day jobs.
