Backstory:
Funny Paper was born out of a shared love for music and comics by a group of high school friends from Austin, Texas. The band’s name was inspired by their favorite comic strip, which they read religiously. They began their journey playing local gigs and parties, gradually gaining a loyal following with their unique sound and thematic concept. Their big break came when a video of them performing at a local music festival went viral, catching the attention of a renowned music producer who offered them a recording deal. Since then, Funny Paper has released multiple albums, each a homage to their favorite comic strips and characters, and continue to engage their fans with their creativity and infectious music.
