Fabulous Dog

Backstory:

The Fabulous Dog was formed in the vibrant city of Dublin, Ireland. It all began in 2012 when four friends from college – Patrick O’Donnell (vocalist), Oliver Murray (guitarist), Finn Gallagher (bassist), and Liam Keane (drummer) discovered their shared passion for music. Jamming in their dorm rooms quickly turned into a serious pursuit, with the band developing a unique sound, influenced by their love of rock-and-roll, and the rich Irish folk tradition. They gained significant local notoriety in 2014 after winning the “Emerging Talent” competition at the renowned Fleadh music festival.

Their breakthrough hit came in 2015 with “Barking at the Moon,” which was a runaway success and charted in the top ten for several weeks. The success of “Barking at the Moon” led to them signing a deal with an indie record label, and there has been no looking back for the members of The Fabulous Dog since then. Their unique brand of music and electrifying live performances continue to win them fans both at home and abroad.

“Barking at the Moon”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Em C G D
Runnin’ down the alleyway, late last night,
Em C G D
Saw a shadow moving, out of the streetlight,
Em C G D
It was you, it was me, it was our destiny,
Em C G D
Barking at the moon, in the city’s twilight.

(Chorus)
Em C G D
We are wild, we are free, we are the melody,
Em C G D
Like a fabulous dog, barking at the moon, can’t you see?

(Verse 2)
Em C G D
We’ve been chasing dreams, down the old highway,
Em C G D
Through the rain, through the pain, through the wild fray,
Em C G D
Hold on tight, through the night, till the break of day,
Em C G D
Barking at the moon, won’t you come and play?

(Chorus)
Em C G D
We are wild, we are free, we are the melody,
Em C G D
Like a fabulous dog, barking at the moon, can’t you see?
