Backstory:
Eminent Jam is a dynamic trio that hails from the thriving music scene of Austin, Texas. The band consists of childhood friends: Clayton “Clay” Stevenson on lead vocals and guitar, Benny “Benz” Rutherford on drums, and Lila “Lee” Harris on bass guitar and backing vocals. The three met in junior high school and shared a common passion for music. They began jamming in Clay’s garage, practicing classics from their favorite rock bands and writing their own music. They decided to form Eminent Jam in their senior year of high school, naming it after their belief that they were destined for great things. They started playing in local bars, fast gaining a reputation for their unexpected but enthralling fusion of rock and reggae.
