Frigid Offender

Backstory:
Frigid Offender first came together in the frosty town of Yellowknife, Canada in the early 2000’s. The band’s four members – Jason “Frostbite” Fraser on vocals and guitar, Sarah “Blizzard” Bennett on bass, Kevin “Chill” Collins on drums, and Rachel “Frosty” Farley on keyboard – all shared a deep love for their frigid surroundings, and this passion eventually spawned their unique sound. They were initially just a local sensation, playing at bars and small venues, but they quickly gained a bigger following due to their vivacious performances and chilling lyrics. The band’s name, Frigid Offender, is a nod to the cold, harsh environment they call home and the rebellious attitudes they carry towards societal norms.

Title:
“Icebound Rebellion”

Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse)
G C Am D
Underneath the arctic moonlight, we stand as cold as ice,
We’ve got rebellion in our blood, won’t pay the price.
Our hearts are frozen solid, but our spirits ignite,
We’re Frigid Offenders, ready to fight.

(Chorus)
Em C G D
Icebound Rebellion, we won’t back down,
Our voices echo in this silent, frozen town.
Icebound Rebellion, we stand our ground,
In this icy wilderness, our music is the only sound.

(Verse)
G C Am D
Our breath turns to frost in the biting air,
In our souls, the fire of defiance we bear.
Against the chill of conformity, we rage,
We’re Frigid Offenders, breaking the cage.

(Chorus)
Em C G D
Icebound Rebellion, we won’t give in,
Against the blizzard, we’ll strive and win.
Icebound Rebellion, we’re not afraid,
In the frosty darkness, our rebellion won’t fade.

Why and How Frigid Offender is his Favorite: “I’ve been a fan of Frigid Offender since their first gig at the local pub. There’s something about their music that gets under your skin. It’s raw, it’s real, and it’s relatable. As someone who’s lived in the icy cold of Yellowknife all my life, their lyrics speak to me. They’re not just a band; they’re a battle cry, a beacon of light in the endless winter. Their song ‘Icebound Rebellion’ is my anthem. It encapsulates the spirit of our town – unyielding, indomitable, and fiercely independent. Frigid Offender is my favorite band because they’ve given our small town a voice, a sound that echoes across the frozen wilderness, and it’s a sound I’m proud to be a part of.”
