Backstory:

Fixed Explanation was born out of the unlikely convergence of four musicians from different parts of the country. Each member was pursuing a solo career in their respective hometowns, playing in local bars and clubs, before fate brought them together at an open mic night in Nashville, TN in 2015. There, they discovered their shared passion for music that pushes boundaries and challenges norms. Realizing their individual strengths would be amplified as a group, they formed Fixed Explanation and haven’t looked back since.

Genre:

Fixed Explanation’s music could best be defined as a fusion of indie rock and electronic pop, with elements of folk and punk blended in for good measure. Their distinct sound has a unique way of drawing listeners in, with unexpected twists and turns that keep audiences guessing.
