Backstory:
Prime Wool started off in the small town of Winslow, Maine where best friends, Jake Gibson and Patrick O’Hara, discovered a shared passion for music. They spent long afternoons in Jake’s old barn, blending the rustic setting with their unique sound. Jake was a natural on the guitar, and Patrick had a voice, likened by locals to smooth bourbon. Wanting to expand their horizon, they decided to move to the city. Boston welcomed them with open arms, and the urban landscape added a new texture to their music. Soon, they were joined by bassist, Emily Rudd, and drummer, Ben Hudson, completing the Prime Wool ensemble.

Diane Miller. As a longtime resident of Winslow, Diane has been a fan of Prime Wool since their early barn days. She recalls, “Their music lifts my spirits and paints a vivid picture of the countryside I love. It reminds me of home and the people I cherish.
