Backstory:
Exotic White formed almost by accident in 2008 when four college friends discovered a shared passion for music. The quartet hails from Seattle, Washington, where they first started their journey in a basement furnished with worn-out instruments and a homemade studio. Lewis Garcia, the lead vocalist, and pianist, met the drummer, Mike Stevens, in a local music shop while buying guitar strings. Both were studying at the University of Washington, and together they met the guitarist, Johnathan Lee, and bassist, Amy Rodriguez, in a music theory class. They started as a cover band, but their creativity soon led them to write their original music, and their unique sound quickly caught people’s attention.
Exotic White is known for their electrifying live performances, their passionate fan base, and their commitment to creating music that pushes boundaries while staying true to their roots. The band has faced many challenges, including lineup changes and financial struggles, yet the intense bond between the members and their shared love for music has always kept them going. Today, Exotic White is a symbol of perseverance, passion, and the power of music.
