Backstory:
Supportive Temper originated in the bustling city of Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2007. The band members, comprised of high school friends Joe Minnetonka (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), Nick Duluth (lead guitar), Tim Rochester (bass), and Evan St. Paul (drums), shared a passion for music and a desire to express their collective experiences and perspectives through a unique blend of sounds. There was an instantaneous chemistry between the four friends, and they quickly went from jamming in Joe’s garage to playing local gigs, steadily building a solid fanbase.
Their big break came in 2011, when they were spotted by a talent scout at a local music festival, who was immediately intrigued by their raw talent and energetic performances. Their debut album was released in 2013 and marked the beginning of their journey to national recognition. The band’s name, Supportive Temper, reflects their commitment to supporting each other and their fans, while also acknowledging the fiery passion and energy that drives their music.
