Backstory:
Born in the heart of New York City, the band Mundane Radio came to fruition in the back room of an old vinyl record store in 2008. Founding members Ethan Cooper and Jackson ‘Jax’ King, who were just college students at the time, found their musical chemistry while browsing through stacks of vintage records. They were inspired by the simplicity and depth of old school music, and thus decided to form their own band, which they named ‘Mundane Radio’, a symbol of how they wanted their music to be a part of everyday life, as common yet profound as the radio playing in the background. As they recruited bassist Maria Lopez and drummer Lucas ‘Luke’ Grant, the Mundane Radio family grew, and their musical journey started in earnest.

Genre: Mundane Radio is primarily an Indie Rock band, but they often blend elements of folk, blues, and alternative rock in their music, creating a unique and refreshing sound that captivates audiences.
