Backstory:
Born under the flickering neon lights of downtown Los Angeles, Wan Feather materialized from the mutual passion of four childhood friends. The band members, comprising lead singer Joe “Raven” Thompson, guitarist Sam “Red” Winston, bassist Noah “Night Owl” Simmons, and drummer Alex “Hawk” Hudson, had all grown up in the same neighborhood. Each had followed divergent paths in their early adult lives, from bartending to filmmaking, but they were always drawn back to their shared love for music. The band name, Wan Feather, was coined as an homage to their individuality and resilience, symbolizing a solitary feather enduring against the harsh winds of adversity.
Genre:
Wan Feather’s music falls primarily in the Alternative Rock genre, drawing influences from folk and indie rock. Their sound is raw, earthy, and haunting, characterized by poignant lyrics and captivating melodies that resonate deeply with their listeners.

Full Song Lyrics:
[Intro]
Am C G D
[Verse]
Am C
Underneath the moonlight, we’re spinning stories,
G D
Of the love we lost, and the faded glories.
Am C
Aches in our hearts, dreams that we chase,
G D
Walking on the edge, in the infinite space.
[Chorus]
Am C
One last flight, into the dying light,
G D
We are wan feathers on the wind, forever in sight.
Am C
Dreams take flight, into the endless night,
G D
We are wan feathers on the wind, holding on tight.
[Verse]
Am C
Underneath the starlight, we’re painting dreams,
G D
Of the roads we cross, and the flowing streams.
Am C
Smiles on our faces, hope in our eyes,
G D
Looking for the dawn, in the midnight skies.
[Chorus]
Am C
One last flight, into the dying light,
G D
We are wan feathers on the wind, forever in sight.
Am C
Dreams take flight, into the endless night,

We are wan feathers on the wind, holding on tight.
