Backstory:

Live Shelf began their journey in a cluttered garage in the heart of Los Angeles, back in 2010. The founding members, Sophia Dawson and Brian Gale, were both studying at UCLA, with a shared passion for music. The two often spent their free time jamming in Gale’s garage, a place cluttered with musical instruments, old books, and everything else in between. The duo’s raw talent, imbued with their love for literature and profound philosophy, quickly gave birth to Live Shelf. Adding more members to the band, including drummer Nick Sullivan and bassist Sara Lee, they set out to create music that elaborately sketches the human condition in its raw form.

Over the years, Live Shelf has transformed from a garage band to a recognizable name in the music industry, known for their lyrically profound songs and mesmerizing performances. Their music, much like books on a shelf, aims to connect with their listeners on a deeper level, allowing them to discover various facets of life through the lens of their songs.
