Backstory: Adept Concession is a band that found its roots in the flourishing music scene of Brooklyn, New York, in 2007. Composed of four childhood friends—lead vocalist and guitarist Jason ‘Jay’ Martinez, bassist Liam ‘Lee’ Williams, drummer Sam ‘Sammy’ Davis, and lead guitarist, Jack ‘JJ’ Johnson—the band members bonded over their shared love for music and started playing at local bars and clubs. After years of relentless gigging and honing their craft, they started gaining attention from the local music scene and eventually signed a contract with a major record label. Their journey wasn’t always easy, but their shared passion for music and their unwavering friendship made them stick together and kept them moving forward.
