Angry Cord was formed in the heart of Austin, Texas in 2015. The band consists of three lifelong friends; Mason, the charismatic lead singer and rhythm guitarist, Jackson, the reserved but talented lead guitarist, and Sophie, the carefree drummer with a heart of gold. They were brought together by their mutual love for music and their shared experiences growing up in a tough neighborhood, where they found solace and escape in the universal language of music. The name “Angry Cord” was inspired by their collective struggles and the emotions they channel into their music.
