Brisk Break

Backstory:
Brisk Break was formed in the small town of Ashbury, Oregon in the cold winter of 2005. Founding members Alex Reed (vocals and guitar), Ethan Thorne (drums), and Jacob Hall (bass) were high school friends who shared a passion for music and dreamt of creating something unique and impactful. They started out playing in local cafes and small venues, earning accolades for their raw talent and fresh sound. Their dedication and shared vision soon led to a successful debut album that catapulted them into the limelight. Despite their success, they never strayed from their humble beginnings and continue to make music that resonates with their fans.

“Riding the Waves of Change”

Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[G] Looking out into the [D] ocean,
[Em] Thoughts as deep as the [C] sea.
[G] Searching for a [D] motion,
[Em] A rhythm that just lets us [C] be.

(Chorus)
[G] Riding the waves of [D] change,
[Em] Embracing the ebb and [C] flow.
[G] Nothing ever stays the [D] same,
[Em] It’s the only constancy we [C] know.

(Verse 2)
[G] The sun sets and the [D] moon rises,
[Em] Yet another day drifts [C] away.
[G] Life’s full of [D] surprises,
[Em] Every moment has its own [C] say.

(Chorus)
[G] Riding the waves of [D] change,
[Em] Embracing the ebb and [C] flow.
[G] Nothing ever stays the [D] same,
[Em] It’s the only constancy we [C] know.

(Outro)
[G] So we’ll keep on [D] riding,
[Em] Through the highs and the [C] lows.
[G] In life’s beautiful [D] timing,
[Em] We’ll find where the wild [C] wind blows.

Fan’s Testimonial:
My name is Bella Carter, and I am possibly the biggest fan of Brisk Break. Their music has been a beacon of light in my life, especially during my dark days. I resonate with their raw and honest lyrics, and their music has a therapeutic quality that has helped me navigate through life’s complexities. It’s not just their music that I adore, but also their humility and love for their fans. They have remained grounded despite their fame, constantly taking out time to interact with fans like me. In my book, no band can ever replace Brisk Break!
