Backstory:

Unwelcome Disgust was formed in the gloomy underground music scene of Seattle in 2009. Founded by lead vocalist and guitarist, Zack Morrison, the band initially began as a personal outlet for Morrison’s raw and disillusioned worldviews. Eventually, childhood friends – bassist, Leo Reynolds and drummer, Mike Watson, joined in, making Unwelcome Disgust a dynamic trio. The band garnered a reputation for their electrifying performances and confrontational lyrics, reflecting Morrison’s jaded perspectives about society and politics.

The band’s favorite fan is Kylie Patterson. Kylie, a teenager when she first discovered Unwelcome Disgust, found a refuge in their music during her tumultuous adolescence. She says, “Unwelcome Disgust became a lifeline for me. Their music echoed my own feelings of frustration and rebellion, and somehow, listening to their songs made me feel less alone. Their raw, confrontational lyrics spoke to me in a way no one else did.
