Backstory:

Calculating Flesh is a tale of four unlikely musicians who found solace in the raw power of music. It all began in the dreary halls of an Ivy League university where they were enrolled as students of computer science. As they grappled with binary codes and algorithms, they discovered their shared affinity for the rebellious and soul-stirring rhythm of music. Thus, in the midst of their studies, they formed a band, drawing inspiration from their academic pursuits and coining the name ‘Calculating Flesh’. They practiced tirelessly in their offbeat campus basement, developing a unique sound that flawlessly fused their tech-genius persona with their passion for music.

Graduating in the year 2017, they decided to take a leap of faith. Instead of opting for well-paying software jobs, they ventured onto the road, touring across the country, playing at dive bars, local festivals and generally anywhere that would have them. Their audacious spirit began to pay off as they found themselves gaining a dedicated fanbase who appreciated their originality and authenticity.
