Backstory:

Competent Phase began in the bustling streets of Seattle, Washington in 2014 when lead vocalist and guitarist, Jon ‘Ripcord’ Radley, crossed paths with drummer, Max ‘Thundersticks’ Thompson. Both passionate about music and yearning for a platform to share their unique compositions, they decided to form a band. The duo was soon joined by Anna ‘Bass Boss’ Kennington, a talented bassist and Jake ‘Melody Maker’ Silver, a skilled keyboardist. The four musicians found a shared language in their music, bringing together their diverse influences to create a sound all their own.
