Backstory:
Excitable Money was formed in a bustling college dorm room in 2011 when Tim ‘Tin’ Jenkins, a finance major, started jamming with his philosophy major roommate, Sam ‘Solace’ Thompson. Their shared love for music and unique perspectives on life and society gave them a different kind of synergy that translated into their music. After recruiting Laura ‘Loud’ Williams, a literature major with a powerful voice and a knack for lyrics, and Dave ‘Driftwood’ Hanson, an art major with a rhythm in his soul, the band was complete. Together, they started producing music that was a mix of their academic influences and personal beliefs, attracting a wide audience on campus and soon, across the country.
