Backstory:
Sandy Death, an ironically named band, originated on the sun-soaked shores of San Diego back in 2009. The members, Tommy (vocals and guitar), Kyle (drums), Lisa (bass), and Dave (keyboard) were all surf buddies who decided to jam together in between surfing sessions. The band started writing songs, fueling their music with their shared love for surfing, sunsets, and a surprising twist – their passion for 70s inspired heavy metal.

Their unique sound, a fusion of beach vibes and heavy metal, quickly caught the attention of the local community, which led to a self-produced EP that was well-received by the indie music scene. Their journey took a leap from there, they started touring and gained a steady following, adding a fresh flavor to the heavy metal genre.
