Backstory:
Formed in the small town of Roper, North Carolina in 2014, Decent Bear is comprised of five childhood friends: lead vocalist Charlie Thompson, guitarists Dave Harris and Steve Wilson, bassist Max Collins, and drummer Bill Davis. The group, bonded by their shared love for music and an unyielding desire to escape the humdrum life of Roper, decided to combine their musical talents to form a band initially known as ‘The Roper Misfits.’ Their sound, full of raw passion, soon caught attention, and they were urged by a local music producer to rename their band to better reflect their style and potential. Thus, Decent Bear was born. Through years of hard work, relentless touring, and the occasional setback, the band has grown its brand and fanbase, staying true to their origins while refining their sound.
