Backstory:

Negative Weekend was formed in the chilly winter of 2009 in the heart of Brooklyn, New York. The band members, consisting of lead vocalist and guitarist Jake Harrington, bassist Max Evans, and drummer Emily Walker, were initially a group of college friends who shared a deep passion for music. They started by performing in local bars and cafes and soon gained recognition for their unique sound and raw, emotional lyrics. Their band name, Negative Weekend, was coined from the idea that while weekends are usually associated with enjoyment, they can also bring loneliness and sorrow for some.
