Backstory:
Rash Jew was formed in the heart of Brooklyn, New York in the early 2000’s. The band consists of four childhood friends: Josh Cohen (lead vocals and bass), Dave Rosenberg (guitar), Matt Goldman (drums), and Sam Levy (keyboard). The guys grew up in a tightly-knit Jewish community, always tinkering with various musical instruments, coming together to make music as a means of expressing their unique perspectives on life. The band’s name, Rash Jew, comes from their outspoken and in-your-face attitude towards the stereotypes and expectations that they have encountered over the years.

Genre:
Rash Jew plays a unique fusion of punk rock and klezmer, blending the raw energy and rebellious spirit of punk with their Jewish roots reflected by the traditional Eastern European Jewish music.
