Backstory:
Juvenile Estimate is the brainchild of four childhood friends – Emily, Luke, Jake, and Rachel – who grew up together in the small, musically rich town of Asheville, North Carolina. The foursome always shared a love of music, often spending their after-school hours jamming in Emily’s basement. Their passion for music strengthened their bond, and they decided to take their love for music a step further during their sophomore year at Asheville High School by forming Juvenile Estimate. Their band name came about after a joke about an unusually high estimate their math teacher had given during a class – they all laughed at it, claiming it was a ‘juvenile estimate,’ and the name stuck.
