Backstory:
Meager Turn was birthed in the dorm rooms of Cambridge University in 2008, when four students discovered a mutual love for alternative music and an almost obsessive drive to create something unique. The band members, hailing from various parts of the UK, brought a distinctive blend of influences to their music. The lead vocalist, Harry Weston, brought his grunge-inspired soulful voice, while the drummer, George Lamb, leaned more towards punk rock. The other two members, Elliot Turner on the bass guitar and Lewis Blake on lead guitar, combined their love for indie pop and folk, creating a diverse sound palette. They started performing at local pubs, university events, and eventually worked their way up to larger venues.
Their reputation for delivering energetic live performances, combined with thought-provoking lyrics, quickly gained them a loyal fan base.
