Backstory:

Husky Sock is a quirky, delightful band that originated in the heart of Chicago. It all began when Peter “Pete” Johnson, a freelance programmer, and Sarah “Sal” Lawson, a local barista, stumbled upon each other one fateful night during an open mic session at a rundown café. Sharing the same love for music with an odd twist, they decided to create their sound, something unique and never heard before. That night, Husky Sock was born.

During the following years of their formation, Husky Sock grew from a duo to a full-blown band, including percussionist Tony “Tbone” Brown, bassist Richie “The Fingers” Fender, and eccentric synth player, Lizzie “Laser” Clark. Their music, a fusion of genres, leaning heavily on Indie pop and electronic music, with sprinkles of folk, has been a massive hit among the Chicago youth. Their band name, Husky Sock, is a nod to their warm, comforting sound, which they describe as “electronic campfire stories.”
