Backstory:

Roasted Hydrant was formed in the gritty streets of Chicago, Illinois, back in 2009. The band members, comprised of childhood friends Ronny Blackburn (lead vocals), Mickey “Fire” Thompson (guitar), Joey “Water” Donovan (bass), and Tommy “Flame” Ellis (drums), got their start playing in local dive bars and small clubs, where their love for heavy metal and unique sound quickly captured the ears of the underground scene. Legend has it that the band got its name after a wild night of revelry that ended with a literal roasted fire hydrant. As news of the incident spread, they became known as Roasted Hydrant, a name that stuck and encapsulated their fiery spirit and fierce dedication to their music.
