Backstory:
Emerging from the heart of Brooklyn, New York, Pricey Direction began as an ambitious project born from the creative minds of four college friends – Ryan ‘Rhythm’ Peters, Danny ‘Dynamite’ Dean, Marcus ‘Melody’ Mason, and Freddie ‘Funky’ Ford. Each member brought their unique style and passion to the table, forging a bond at the campus’s open mic nights and jam sessions. With graduation came the decision to take their shared vision to the next level. Pooling their resources, they transformed Freddie’s garage into a makeshift recording studio, and Pricey Direction was born.

Spending countless nights experimenting with sounds, lyrics, and rhythms, the band began to develop their unique sound. The four friends’ unwavering determination and passion for their craft soon paid off. Their first EP, self-released online, was a hit with college radio stations across the country. This initial recognition was the springboard they needed, propelling them from their garage studio onto stages around the world.
