Backstory:
Secondary Season is an alt-rock band from the misty shores of Portland, Oregon, United States. The band members, namely, Caleb Hudson (vocalist, guitarist), Mason Turner (drummer), and twins Hannah and Josh Kennedy (keyboardist and bassist respectively), were classmates in high school. They found their shared love for music during their senior year and decided to form a band. They chose the name Secondary Season as they wanted their music to be “a second season of life,” a term they used to describe the transition from adolescence to adulthood.

The band’s favorite fan, Jessica, is a college student from their hometown. Jessica says, “Secondary Season is my favorite band because their music feels like a journey. As a fellow Portland native, their lyrics about our town remind me of my own growing pains and victories. Their song ‘Rainfall Rendezvous’ is the soundtrack to my life. It’s comforting to know that someone else has felt what you’re feeling and turned it into something beautiful and understood.”
