Unlined Bit

Backstory:

Unlined Bit was formed in the bustling city of Los Angeles, California in 2015. The band was born from the ashes of several failed garage bands. The members – lead vocalist and guitarist Joe Hackman, bassist Eddy McAlister, and drummer Samuel Digger – each brought their unique musical sensibilities to create an unexpected, yet appealing sonic cocktail. They bonded over a shared love for rock and blues, and a combined frustration with the mainstream music industry. They sought to create a raw, unfettered sound that would not only satisfy their own musical cravings but also resonate with others seeking an alternative to the cookie-cutter tracks dominating the airwaves.

Genre:

Unlined Bit is primarily a rock band, with strong influences of blues and grunge. Their music is characterized by strong guitar riffs, deep bass lines, and resonant, rough-hewn vocals. The band’s signature sound merges traditional rock rhythms with an innovative blues twist, resulting in a distinctive, edgy vibe that sets them apart from other bands in the genre.

“One More Ride”

Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
G D A
She came like a summer breeze, in a town that’s cold and lonely,
Em C G
Left me longing for her touch, in the nights when I’m down and lowly.

(Chorus)
D A G
One more ride, under the starlight,
Em C G
With you by my side, everything feels right.
D A G
One more ride, till the break of dawn,
Em C G
With you in my life, I can carry on.

(Verse 2)
G D A
We danced in the moonlight, lost to the world and its folly,
Em C G
Your laughter echoed in my heart, driving away all melancholy.

(Chorus)
D A G
One more ride, in this crazy life,
Em C G
With you as my guide, I can brave any strife.
D A G
One more ride, till the end of time,
Em C G
You are my rhythm, my sweetest rhyme.

Testimonial:

“My name’s Lilly, and I’m an ardent follower of Unlined Bit. I fell in love with their sound the first time I heard ‘One More Ride’ on a local radio station. Their raw energy and passion captivated me. Their music is a breath of fresh air in today’s music scenario, reminiscent of the old school rock and blues, which I’ve always been a fan of. I’ve been to every concert within a 100-mile radius and they never fail to put on an electrifying performance. Their authenticity sets them apart. They are my favorite band because they’re true to themselves and their music, and honestly, that’s a rare gem to find these days.”
