Backstory:
Jaunty Drive came into existence in the vibrant city of Austin, Texas, in the year 2014. The band members, four college friends – Jamie (Lead vocalist and guitarist), Dina (bassist), Travis (drummer), and Ethan (keyboardist), all shared a fascination for music and a deep love for road trips. This is how the four of them, in the middle of an unforgettable road trip, decided to channel their passion for music into a band, named after their love for jaunty drives and adventures.

In their early days, they performed at local bars and college gigs, quickly gaining popularity for their unique sound. Their big break came when they won an annual band competition, which led to their first record deal. Their music is well-loved for its soulful lyrics inspired by their personal experiences, road trips, and the people they meet during their journey.
