Backstory:
Wilted Inspector is the brainchild of four childhood friends: Mike, Ben, Sam, and Jake, who all hail from the small rustbelt town of Flint, Michigan. The four grew up together, sharing in their lives’ ups and downs and bonding over their mutual love for music. After high school, each of them pursued different paths but they always found their way back to their shared dream of creating music together. It was during a particularly harsh winter in 2011, they decided to take a leap of faith and formed their band, Wilted Inspector. The name was an homage to their small-town roots, reflecting the decay and resilience that they saw around them every day.
Over the years, they honed their unique sound, earning them a dedicated fan base. Their music is a mixture of raw emotion, relatable lyrics and an eclectic mix of instrumental experimentation. They’ve experienced their fair share of peaks and valleys, but their gritty determination and genuine love for music have kept them going. Wilted Inspector is not just a band. It’s an embodiment of friendship, dreams, and the relentless pursuit of passion.
