Backstory:
Founded in the remote outskirts of Austin, Texas, Far Unix was born out of a chance meeting at a late-night, underground techie party. Lead singer and programmer, Jim ‘Syntax’ Spencer, met bassist and graphic designer, Rich ‘Render’ Davis. They discovered their shared love for music and technology. They soon roped in systems analyst and drummer, Sam ‘Binary’ Nelson, and web developer and guitarist, Steve ‘String’ Reynolds. Together they combined their love for technology and music to create a symphony that resonates with the digital age.
Genre:
Synth-pop and techno.
Title:
“Firewall of Love”.
Full Song Lyrics:
Verse 1 [Em C G D]
In a world that’s full of zeroes and ones,
My heart beats for you like a drum,
Our love code is the perfect algorithm,
Running in my veins, causing a beautiful rhythm.
Chorus [G D Em C]
You’re the Firewall to my Love,
Shielding it from all the bugs,
Passionate like a heated plug,
Together we’re unbreakable, oh so snug.
Verse 2 [Em C G D]
I’ll serenade you in Binary and C,
Your love’s the only encryption key,
Our connection’s stronger than a VPN,
I’m your techno knight, again and again.
Chorus [G D Em C]
You’re the Firewall to my Love,
Saving me from the Trojan’s shove,
Our love’s code will rise above,
In this digital world, you’re all I think of.
Bridge [Am Em D G]
In this Codebase of life, together we compile,
Under the fading moonlight, your love makes me smile,
We are the perfect function, no need to debug,
In this tech world, your love is my drug.
Chorus [G D Em C]
You’re the Firewall to my Love,
In the network of my heart, you’re the glove,
I’m your tech Romeo, and you’re my dove,
In this digital world, our love will never move.
