Backstory:
Gummy Expenditure is a band that emerged from the vibrant music scene of Austin, Texas, in 2011. The band includes five members who originally met in a local record store, bonding over their shared love for music, sarcasm, and gummy bears. The name “Gummy Expenditure” was actually a spontaneous idea while they were joking about their excessive spending on gummies. Deciding to turn the joke into a reality, they formed a band to create an eclectic mix of music that went on to break boundaries and captivate audiences.

After years of playing local gigs and refining their sound, the band caught the attention of renowned music producer, Dave Cobb, who helped them to release their debut album in 2014. Despite the initial struggle, Gummy Expenditure soon gained traction and built a strong fan base with their quirky band name, distinctive sound, and utterly unique lyrics.
