Watching the sun rise over the East River in bustling New York City, four musicians found their solace in playing music on a small rooftop garden, thus the inception of ‘Humming Channel.’ The band started as an outlet for four friends – Grace Hudson, Zachary “Zed” Ellis, Ethan Weber, and Rachel Thompson – to escape life’s trials and tribulations. Each member brought their unique style, stemming from their diverse musical backgrounds, creating a refreshing blend of sound that quickly caught the city’s attention. A chance encounter with a music producer during one of their rooftop sessions opened the door to a recording contract and their rapid rise to stardom.
