Backstory:
Flippant Stimulus was born in the vibrant music scene of San Francisco in 2010. Childhood friends Melissa “Mel” Lane and Gary “Gar” Collins came together, inspired by their shared passion for independent music and a desire to create something unique. Mel, with her keyboard and soulful voice, and Gar, with his innovative beats and expert guitar skills, began creating music in their garage, eventually growing into a sound that was entirely their own.
They played in every bar and club that would have them, slowly gaining a loyal following with their intoxicating blend of music. Their rise to fame was not without its challenges, but they never compromised on their sound and vision. Their commitment to their craft paid off when they were signed by an indie record label in 2013. Today, Flippant Stimulus is known for its unique sound, live energy, and the deep connection they have with their fans.
