Backstory:
Born in the bustling streets of Brooklyn, New York, the five-member band, “Wide Sample,” was formed out of the ashes of a previous group that didn’t quite make it. The group members, each bringing their unique musical background, decided to push the boundaries and experiment with a mix of genres to create something unique. Inspired by the diversity of their hometown, they aimed to sample a wide range of sounds, thereby naming their band “Wide Sample.”
In a twist of fate, the group’s unique sound was discovered by a small indie label while playing a gig at a local bar. Their music resonated with the audience, creating an ambiance that was both soulful and electrifying. After releasing their debut album, they quickly gained a national following, and their journey to stardom was just beginning.
