Backstory:
Splendid Weather was conceived in the tiny town of Bumblebee, Arizona, when high-school friends, George “Storm” Hawkins and Gary “Gale” Sanders, started jamming together in their parents’ garages. Their bond over music and the shared experience of growing up in a small town, far removed from the urban chaos, is what led to the inception of a band that would later captivate audiences far and wide. Storm, the lead vocalist and guitarist, and Gale, the drummer and backing vocalist, were later joined by bassist Carl “Cloud” Jefferson and violinist Sarah “Sunshine” MacIntosh. Together, they started a musical journey that was as unpredictable and beautiful as the weather itself, hence the name, ‘Splendid Weather’.

Title:
“Raindrops and Daydreams”

Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
G Em C D
Under the gray, sky canvas, we trace dreams,
G Em C D
Lost in the rhythm of raindrops, and whispered seams.
G Em C D
The city sleeps, while we sway on the tunes,
G Em C D
Of our hearts, humming under the moon.

(Chorus)
G Em C D
In the raindrops and daydreams, we find our song,
G Em C D
Moving to the tempo of life, we dance along.
G Em C D
Through the mists of time, in the echoes of the night,
G Em C D
We find our melody, under the soft moonlight.

(Verse 2)
G Em C D
On the canvas of earth, we paint our story,
G Em C D
In rainbows and raindrops, in sweet allegory.
G Em C D
The world awakes, to the sound of our love,
G Em C D
In the music of heavens, from the clouds above.

(Chorus)
G Em C D
In the raindrops and daydreams, we play our lore,
G Em C D
Finding our rhythm, we uncover more.
G Em C D
Through the whispers of the wind, in the breath of the dawn,
G Em C D
We find our harmony, in the lyrics we’ve drawn.
