Backstory:
Cooperative Delegation traces its roots back to a small garage in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. Childhood friends and founding members Tim Armstrong (Vocals/Guitar) and Max Preston (Bass) are said to have begun their musical journey with nothing more than a used guitar, a dilapidated drum kit, and a passion for making noise. The addition of Dave ‘Shredder’ Sherman on lead guitar and Jerry ‘Sticks’ Miller on drums completed the lineup. The band conquered the local music scene with their blend of infectious melodies and lyrical depth, eventually drawing the attention of independent record label, Sonic Wave Records.
The band has come a long way from their humble beginnings, having played at various renowned festivals and concert halls. However, they’ve always held on to the raw energy and honest songwriting that set them apart from the start. Their music often revolves around themes of unity, social awareness, and the struggles of everyday life.

“Voices of the Unheard”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[G] Looking around, [D] we see the signs, [Em] can’t ignore them [C] anymore
[G] People in pain, [D] lost in the rain, [Em] crying out for [C] something more
(Chorus)
[Em] Hear the voices of the [C] unheard,
[G] Calling out across the [D] world
[Em] United we can [C] turn the tide,
[G] In the strength of [D] love we confide
(Verse 2)
[G] The walls divide, [D] we take a side, [Em] forgetting we’re all [C] the same
[G] Caught in the fight, [D] we lose the sight, [Em] in this endless [C] blinding game
(Chorus)
[Em] Hear the voices of the [C] unheard,
[G] Calling out across the [D] world
[Em] Together we can [C] break these chains,
[G] It’s time for [D] love to reign
(Bridge)
[Am] Let’s stand together, [C] in the face of the storm
[G] Our strength is our [D] unity, it’s what we’re fightin’ for
(Chorus x2)
[Em] Hear the voices of the [C] unheard,
[G] Calling out across the [D] world
[Em] With love we can [C] make a change,
[G] In this world that’s [D] been deranged

“I’ve been following Cooperative Delegation from their very first gig in a dingy pub downtown. Their music, their message, it resonates with me on a personal level. Every song feels like a piece of my own story, told through their lyrics and melodies. There’s something about their energy, their commitment to their message, that makes them my favorite band. They aren’t just making music, they’re making a difference, and that’s something I can really get behind.”
