Backstory:

Purple Sight was formed in 2012 by a group of five friends who had been playing music together casually for years in the small English town of Ludlow. The band initially started as an escape from their mundane day jobs, a way to retain a bit of creative freedom and excitement. However, their unique sound and tight-knit chemistry quickly gained attention in the local music scene. Their first gig at the Ludlow Brewery was a hit, and they soon found themselves playing regular shows in several local pubs and venues. Inspired by the positive response, the band decided to take a leap of faith, quit their jobs, and dedicate themselves fully to their music.

The band members were inspired by a wide range of musical influences, from classic rock and blues to experimental psychedelic music. This resulted in a unique sound that is both familiar and fresh. The unique name ‘Purple Sight’ was inspired by their shared love for the color purple and the idea of providing a different perspective or ‘sight’ through their music.
