Backstory:
Brought together by a shared love for music and a distaste for the mundane, Juicy Sand was formed in the coastal city of Brighton, England in 2009. The band members, Finnegan “Fin” Grady on lead vocals and guitar, Sadie “Cyclone” Pritchard on drums, and Oliver “Nebula” Douglas on bass, met during a local music festival, where they instantly connected over their shared passion. United under their unique band name, a tribute to their beach city origins, they sought to infuse their music with the vibrancy, texture, and color they found in their environment.
With a firm belief that the best creativity comes from stepping out of comfort zones, the band found themselves experimenting with sound from their first jam session. Their unique sound and energetic performances quickly built them a faithful fanbase, propelling their music to places they only dreamed of. Even as they gained popularity, Juicy Sand remained true to their roots, always bringing a piece of Brighton’s beach city energy to their performances.
