Failing Corridor

Backstory:
Failing Corridor, a band of five childhood friends, was born in the heart of Seattle. This group of misfits found solace in music during their high school years, using it as an escape from their strenuous lives. The band members included a mechanic’s son, a prodigy on the drums, a quiet girl with a thunderous voice, a charming boy with a knack for the guitar, and a hopeless romantic who found his calling in songwriting. They initially performed on street corners and in local pubs, but their talent didn’t go unnoticed for long. Failing Corridor’s raw and genuine sound soon captured the attention of a local record label, and they quickly rose to fame.

Title:
“Invisible Strings”

Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[G] Wandering down the empty streets, [D] lost in the city lights
[Em] Strangers passing, all alone, [C] chasing the fleeting nights
[G] Driven by dreams, led by the heart, [D] we’re playing our parts
[Em] And through the noise, the chaos, the din, [C] there’s a melody within

(Chorus)
[G] Invisible strings, [D] pulling us closer
[Em] Echoes of love, [C] whispering over and over
[G] We’re puppets in time, [D] dancing in the rain
[Em] Bound by the rhythm, [C] tangled in the invisible strings

(Verse 2)
[G] Shadows of the past, haunting the [D] corners of our mind
[Em] Painting the future with hues of [C] gray, leaving colors behind
[G] Walking on the edge, [D] untold stories unfold
[Em] In the dance of life, [C] we find our truth, in the words left untold

(Chorus)
[G] Invisible strings, [D] weaving a tale
[Em] Of love and loss, [C] of triumph and frail
[G] In the silence of the night, [D] amid the roar of the day
[Em] We’re moved by the rhythm, [C] swayed by the invisible strings

“For as long as I can remember, music has been my lifeline. I’ve always been drawn to bands with a raw, emotional sound, and that’s exactly what Failing Corridor delivers. Their music speaks to me on a very personal level—it’s like they’ve taken the words right out of my head and turned them into songs. ‘Invisible Strings’ in particular has helped me through some difficult times. It speaks of the unseen forces that shape our lives, and it reminds me that I’m not alone in my struggles. Failing Corridor’s music is a beacon of hope in an often dark world. They’re more than just a band to me—they’re my heroes.”
