Backstory:
Enlightened Shift is an intriguing gathering of four incredibly talented music enthusiasts hailing from different corners of the United States. The lead vocalist and guitarist, Lucas ‘Lucky’ McAdams, originating from the heart of Texas, met drummer Sebastian ‘Bass’ Lewis, in New York where they were both trying to make their mark in the bustling music scene. After a chance meeting at an open mic night, they connected over their shared passion for music that had substance and depth. Then came along Boston-born bassist, Jackson ‘Jax’ Walker, who added the missing piece to their puzzle with his quick fingers and inventive melodies. To complete the formation, they found keyboardist, Olivia ‘Liv’ Carter, a classically trained pianist with a modern twist, on a YouTube channel.
They formed Enlightened Shift in 2015, their name symbolizing a shift in awareness and perception, a theme that resonates in their music. Their music is a powerful mix of introspective lyrics, innovative melodies, and dynamic chord progressions that have seen them gradually climb the ladder of the music industry.
