Backstory:

Several Air is an Indie rock band formed in 2012 based out of Portland, Oregon. The members Matt (vocals/guitar), Jenny (bass), and Tom (drums) met in a local coffee shop and discovered their shared love for music over cups of artisanal brew. They began jamming together in Tom’s basement before finally deciding to form a band. The name ‘Several Air’ was inspired by their love for the outdoors and the belief in the ability of music to transport listeners to different places, like a breath of fresh air.

Title:
Misty Mountains

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1) [Em-C-G-D]
I wander through the misty mountains, [Em]
All alone in the cold night air, [C]
Underneath the starry curtain, [G]
With the wild wind in my hair. [D]

(Chorus) [G-D-Em-C]
Misty mountains, [G]
Can you hear my heart’s refrain? [D]
Lost in your valleys, [Em]
I find a balm for my pain. [C]

(Verse 2) [Em-C-G-D]
In the silence of your canyons, [Em]
I find echoes of my soul, [C]
Your towering peaks and rustling leaves, [G]
Tell stories of old. [D]

(Chorus) [G-D-Em-C]
Misty mountains, [G]
Can you hear my heart’s refrain? [D]
Lost in your valleys, [Em]
I find a balm for my pain. [C]

(Bridge) [Am-D]
Whispers of the wild, [Am]
In your vast majesty I am a child. [D]

(Chorus) [G-D-Em-C]
Misty mountains, [G]
Can you hear my heart’s refrain? [D]
Lost in your valleys, [Em]
I find a balm for my pain. [C]

(Outro) [Em-C-G-D]
In the heart of the misty mountains, [Em]
I found a home, I found a friend. [C]
Through the winding paths and rocky terrain, [G]
This journey has no end. [D]

She says, “There’s something special about Several Air. Their music speaks directly to my soul. It’s like they’ve captured the essence of nature, of life, and distilled it into song. Listening to them feels like taking a breath of fresh air; it’s refreshing, invigorating, and grounding all at once. No other band has ever made me feel this way.”
