Backstory:
Dental Delegation originated from the depths of the quirky and bustling city of Austin, Texas. The band was formed in the late 2000s by a group of friends who met at a local dental school. They found a common ground in not only their professional aspirations but also their passion for music. The name Dental Delegation was born out of a humorous collegiate in-joke. The band first gained momentum performing at local bars, dental school events and gradually expanded their fan base by playing at music festivals across the country.
Their first big break came when they were spotted by a music producer during the renowned South By Southwest Festival. This led to a record deal and the release of their first studio album. Since then, this group of dental students turned rock stars has been a sensation, filling the music scene with their unique and energetic sound, characterized by their clever use of dental-related metaphors and puns.

“Crown of My Heart”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Am F C G
I was just a cavity, lost in the abyss,
Am F C G
You were the filling, brought back the bliss.
Am F C G
I was chipped and broken, missing my spark,
Am F C G
But you were my dentist, making your mark.
(Chorus)
Am F C G
You’re the crown of my heart, my dental queen,
Am F C G
Fixed my smile, now it’s super clean.
Am F C G
You pulled my pain, drilled away the sorrow,
Am F C G
In your dental chair, found my tomorrow.
(Verse 2)
Am F C G
My love for you is like an oral disease,
Am F C G
It’s deep in my roots, won’t give me ease.
Am F C G
But you’re my fluoride, you’re my cure,
Am F C G
With you, my heart is secure.
(Chorus)
Am F C G
You’re the crown of my heart, my dental queen,
Am F C G
Fixed my smile, now it’s super clean.
Am F C G
You pulled my pain, drilled away the sorrow,
Am F C G
In your dental chair, found my tomorrow.

“My name is Jenny and I am a proud fan of Dental Delegation. I love the band, not only because I am a dentist myself, but also because of their incredible talent and the unique themes they bring to alternative rock. Their lyrics are smart, full of puns and metaphors that only a dental professional or enthusiast can fully appreciate. This makes their music personally relatable and engaging for me.
