Backstory:

Wan Removal was born in the small coastal town of Downey, California in 2000. Initially, it was just a group of three high school friends – lead vocalist Jake Walker, bass guitarist Jesse Parker, and drummer Andy Taylor – who were united by their love of music and a desire to create something different. The band’s first couple of years were full of trial and error, as they experimented with various genres and styles. It was in 2003, however, when they added keyboardist Laura Miller to their ranks, that they truly found their unique and irresistible sound.

As the band matured, so did their music. Their lyrics began to reflect deeper themes and more complex emotions, painting pictures of their own experiences in growing up and navigating life. Despite the challenges along the way, Wan Removal has stayed true to their roots, never forgetting where they started and the passion that brought them together.
