Backstory:
Formed in the heart of New York City in 2012, Lively Squirrel is a group of five friends bound together by their shared love for music and their common ambition to create their own unique sound. The band members were initially part of different music projects, but fate conspired to bring them together in a small, cramped rehearsals room where they first began to jam together. They realized there was an undeniable chemistry, and thus, Lively Squirrel was born.

The band name, Lively Squirrel, was inspired by a squirrel that frequented the window of their initial rehearsal space – energetic, spirited, and ceaseless. The band found these traits echoed in their own approach to music, and named their group in its honor.
