Able Boom began as a dynamic duo in the heart of San Francisco’s indie music scene. They comprise of best friends – Steve “Styx” Linter on drums and vocals, and Jake “Jazzman” Roper on keys and lead guitar. They first met in a musty, low-lit open-mic night at a local café in 2010, where they bonded over their shared love for music that wasn’t bound by conventions. They found their chemistry on stage undeniable and decided to unite their talents, birthing the band, Able Boom. The duo encapsulates the spirit of the city – vibrant, eclectic and unabashedly unique.

Over the years, Able Boom has grown into a phenomenon, with their music resonating with people all over the country. They’ve played at countless gigs, festivals and have even been on a nationwide tour. Their music has evolved over the years, taking on a life of its own while staying true to their original ethos – making music that moves the soul.
