Backstory:
Careless Roof hails from the vibrant music scene of Austin, Texas, where their unique sound was first formed in the basement of an old Victorian house. The band was formed in 2010, consisting of longtime friends Johnny ‘Buck’ Buckner (lead vocals, guitar), Ricky ‘Ricochet’ Watson (drums), and twins Sam and Sarah ‘The Sirens’ Logan (keyboard and bass guitar respectively). The band’s name was inspired by the leaking roof of the very house where they started their journey. They saw this as a metaphor for their music – imperfect, raw, and real, just like the leaking roof, they were careless about the conventional rules of music and focused on creating something new and authentic.
