Worn Principle

Backstory:
Worn Principle was formed in the vibrant city of San Francisco in 2012. Childhood friends and self-taught musicians, Jake Matthews and Greg Thomas, brought together their shared passion for music and an urge to create something refreshing in the music scene. Worn Principle started from humble beginnings, playing in local bars and small venues, gradually gaining a following with their unique sound and raw, heartfelt lyrics. The band’s big break came in 2016, when they were spotted by a talent scout at a music festival who was captivated by their performance, leading them to sign with a major record label.

Worn Principle’s music primarily falls under the genre of Alternative Rock, blending elements of punk, grunge, and indie, with a hint of blues. Their sound is characterized by heavy guitar riffs, powerful drum beats, and poignant lyrics, with a touch of piano that brings a unique element to their music.

Title:
“Shattered Shores”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verses)
Am G F C
On the shattered shores where we used to play,
Am G F C
Echoes of laughter have all faded away,
Am G F C
Now it’s just you and me, and the setting sun,
Am G F C
Wondering where did it all go wrong.

(Chorus)
Dm G C
Remember the dreams we used to chase,
Dm G C
Now they seem like a distant haze,
Dm G C
Don’t let go, hold my hand,
Dm G C
On these shattered shores, we’ll make our stand.

(Repeat Verses and Chorus)
